The Glebe House & Cottages

The Glebe is a lovely old vicarage which lies on the edge of Bamburgh village on the coast road to Berwick.

Recently renovated to a very high standard, Glebe House will easily accommodate up to 8 persons.

Close to Bamburgh Castle and the Beach, Glebe House is only a short drive away from Budle Bay and the Farne Islands, check the Tide Tables for the causeway to Holy Island.

Our large private gardens are safe and ideal for children.

Glebe Cottage is located just behind Glebe House; with its own private patio and garden and two double bedrooms it provides an exclusive accommodation for up to 4 persons.

Glebe Cottage is well furnished, fully carpeted, cosy and warmed by its own oil-fired central heating system.

Dukesfield Holiday Cottages

Located at a peaceful farm steading just outside the historic village of Bamburgh, our five Holiday Cottages provide an ideal base for visitors wishing to explore the wonderful world of North Northumberland.

Dukesfield Holiday Cottages are sited away from the main road. Four of them (Dairy, Stable and Barn Cottages and the Upper Barn) were until quite recently parts of a working Northumbrian farm before being converted into modern cottages.

These lovely old stone buildings retain their original character - set around an inner quadrangle, they are bordered on the outside by paddocks and the farm track that leads to the main road into Bamburgh.

The fifth cottage, St. Aidan's, was formerly our stock barn and manger. Now it's a pretty two-storey cottage, opposite the main buildings, just across the paddock.
